The Moroccan new light vehicle market has seen a 22.6% increase year-on-year, with 14,398 sales, rebounding from a slow period due to last year’s earthquake. Passenger cars jumped 25% to 12,684, while light commercial vehicles rose 7.3% to 1,714. Year-to-date, passenger car sales are up 3.5% to 109,848. Dacia leads the market with a 27.6% share, growing by 42.4%. Renault and Hyundai, though growing, lag behind at 11.3% and 10%, respectively. Volkswagen, Peugeot, and Citroen also saw significant increases, while MG and BYD shone with remarkable growth rates of 150% and 410%.
